Dozens of metropolitan companies took part in the exhibition of lasers and optics

Moscow enterprises are represented at the 18th international specialized exhibition of laser, optical and optoelectronic equipment “Photonics. World of lasers and optics – 2024.” The event, organized by EXPOCENTER JSC and the Laser Association, takes place in the capital from March 26 to 29. The details were provided by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.

“A photonics and microelectronics cluster has been created in the city, which unites factories, design centers and test laboratories. The participation of metropolitan manufacturers in the industry exhibition provides them with the opportunity to exchange experience and technologies, and find partners for cooperation and development. This year, 63 metropolitan manufacturers are represented at the exhibition, exhibiting devices for laser cleaning, cutting, engraving and much more,” noted Vladislav Ovchinsky, recalling that photonics is a promising high-tech direction of the capital’s industry.

This year, 260 companies from Russia, Armenia, China, and Belarus are participating in the exhibition, presenting equipment and comprehensive solutions to production problems. Among the metropolitan companies represented at the event are the manufacturer of lasers, optomechanics and optical fiber LASSARD, the enterprise producing photodetector matrices and avalanche photodiodes Optron, as well as the Pokkels company, which exhibits laser cleaning and engraving devices.
