The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg reported that three passengers who did not want to pay the fare beat a 59-year-old female conductor.
The woman went to a medical facility with bruises, from where a telephone message was sent to the police.
Measures have been taken to identify and detain the suspects. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for hooliganism.
