Near St. Petersburg, the relatives of a deceased SVO participant are looking for his dog, which every day for 9 months resorted to the road along which its owner went on a special operation. 47news writes about this.
It is reported that St. Petersburg residents and residents of the Leningrad region are being asked to take a closer look at homeless animals, among which may be a dog named Ava. She is 10 years old, a man picked her up as a puppy on the street, and since then she has accompanied him everywhere.
In June last year, its owner left for the Northern Military District. After that, the dog came running every day to the bus stop, where he broke up with it.
The sister of the deceased soldier said that when he was leaving, at the bus stop he told the dog: “Ava, wait,” so that it would not run after him.
Every morning, Ava scratched at the door and ran towards the road. Sometimes she ran to the cemetery to the grave of her owner.
The dog did not return on March 7. The fighter’s family hopes to meet her.
