Head of Tuva Khovalyg: victim of the accident at the Shagonarskaya Thermal Power Plant died in a burn center
The head of the Republic of Tyva, Vladislav Khovalyg, in a publication on his official telegram channel, said that one of the victims of the accident at the Shagonarskaya Thermal Power Plant died in the burn center of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In his publication, Khovalyg stated that, unfortunately, today the life of Mergen Chechek-oolovich Saryg-ool, who was most seriously injured during an emergency at the Shagonar Thermal Power Plant, was cut short. As the head of the republic noted, the victim was provided with qualified assistance, and doctors fought for his life to the last.
Khovalyg indicated that Mergen Saryg-ool had worked at the thermal power plant as a mechanic repairing and maintaining boiler equipment since 2022. According to him, the deceased left behind a wife and two children. The head of Tuva added that 1 million rubles will be allocated from the republican budget to the family, and they will also be provided with assistance with transportation from Krasnoyarsk and organizing a farewell ceremony.
