The press service of the courts of St. Petersburg reported that a resident of the city, Zhumagul Kurbanova, who tried to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office in the Admiralteisky district, was placed under house arrest until October 1.
At the same time, the investigation asked for detention in a pre-trial detention center as a preventive measure, but the court refused.
Earlier it was reported that Kurbanova on the evening of August 1 set fire to the front door of the military registration and enlistment office on English Avenue. The amount of damage is estimated at 150 thousand rubles.
At the same time, the woman said that she thought she was setting fire to the office of scammers who stole her money. According to her, she was convinced of this by an unknown person who called and introduced himself as a security officer of the Central Bank.
