The New Year holidays, in fact, are only in full swing and there is still Olivier salad from the “old stocks” in the refrigerator, and cold cuts of sausage … And many Russians are no longer calm in their hearts. Money is bye-bye, there is no way to reach payday or pension. How and on what to save, so as not to get into debt or not to take a loan from microfinance organizations? Remember the unshakable rule: you take someone else’s money, and give your own.

There is a lot of valuable advice on social networks in this regard. True, most of them begin and end with the fact that it is best to set aside money to pay utility bills from the meager balance of funds. They say it will be cheaper.

It seems that the instruction “on application” was composed not by ordinary mortal Russians who knew what lack of money is, but by the chairmen of management companies or homeowners’ associations.

I had to talk to the people “live”.

– From each salary during the year we set aside three thousand rubles a month, – says a large man, the head of the family. – The money is small, but now we have more than 30 thousand rubles, and somehow we will live up to the first salary in January.

But not all of us are so far-sighted. What about those who overspent on New Year’s purchases and remained literally broke?

It is clear that if the wallet is completely empty, then nothing can be done about it.

But if something is preserved in it, then these funds are best divided equally by the number of days before salary. This makes it easier to control spending and make purchases strictly within this amount.

– For example, in the first days of January I go only to retail chains, – one housewife shares her experience. – There are almost always promotions, for some products discounts reach up to 50%, this is a significant savings. I buy three carcasses of chicken – for a family of four this is enough for 10 days. And for soups, I boil wings and backbone there. And for main dishes from breasts or legs. I generally forget about the market or small shops, where everything is more expensive and looks more natural.

She also adds that it’s best to go to the store with cash, so it’s easier to control your expenses.

True, advanced Internet users do not agree with this position. They use bank cards, which return part of the amount from the purchase made. It looks like the economy is on the rise.

But it is best to use the present moment and the cheapness (for now) of vegetables.

– A potato costs 24 rubles a kilogram, – says an experienced housewife. – I bought 5 kilos – this is both for soup and for a side dish, enough for a whole week. Cabbage in the supermarket 19 rubles. a two-kilogram package of flour 100 rubles, 200 grams of milk – here are cabbage pies for you, cheap and tasty. After the new year, there are many different scraps of sausage or ham left – I put all this on pizza. For a few days to hold out until payday is not a problem at all.
