The number of flooded residential buildings in Russian regions increased to 10,550 per day. Over the course of a day, this figure increased by more than 100. This is reported by TASS with reference to operational services.
“As of the morning of April 9, 10,550 residential buildings and 19,139 household plots were flooded in 37 regions of the Russian Federation in 226 settlements,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
The operational services added that more than 160 low-water bridges and over 130 road sections were flooded in the country due to floods.
The most difficult situation is observed in the Orenburg region. In the city of Orsk, according to the latest data, 6,995 residential buildings were flooded, a total of 10,327 residential buildings in the region. About 6.4 thousand people were evacuated, including 1.7 thousand children.
