Deputy Prime Minister Golikova: the criterion for a large family is three children or more
A large family in the Russian Federation is one that has three or more children. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
Earlier, Head of State Vladimir Putin said that in the Russian Federation it is necessary to designate the status of a large family with all the corresponding preferential conditions.
The President called for providing such families with benefits and support mechanisms that would be implemented uniformly in all regions. He also noted that the appropriate decision should be made quickly.
In the fall, the head of the “A Just Russia – For Truth” faction, Sergei Mironov, submitted to the State Duma a draft on uniform criteria for a large family. It was assumed that families in which three or more children were born and are being raised, whose age does not exceed 18 years, would fall under it.
