In Orel, students from all over Russia will compete in archery

The first All-Russian archery competition among students started in Orel. This highly anticipated sporting event has attracted archers from all over the country who will compete to be crowned the best.
According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Oryol Region, a total of 63 universities from 29 regions of Russia are participating in the competition. Students will demonstrate their skills and compete in various disciplines to determine those who have the greatest archery skills.
The opening ceremony of the sporting event was attended by influential and famous personalities in the world of archery. The athletes were greeted by the President of the Russian Archery Federation Vladimir Yesheev, the President of the Association of Student Sports Archery League Alexey Borodin, as well as the senior coaches of the women’s and men’s national teams of Russia Galina Shadrina and Stanislav Zabrodsky.
The main judge of the competition will be Oleg Platonov. He will do everything possible to ensure fair and just play, as well as sound leadership and compliance with the rules.
