In the third largest city of the Primorsky Territory, Nakhodka, due to an accident in utility networks, more than 6 thousand residents of 88 apartment buildings, as well as four institutions for minors, were left without heat supply.
“On January 9, 2024, as a result of a break in the economizer supply line at boiler house No. 2.8, the heat supply to apartment buildings on the street was stopped. Verkhne-Morskoy, Gagarin, Nakhodkinsky Prospekt, Lermontov, Goncharova, Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya,” reported today prosecutor’s office Primorye. Primteploenergo specialists are carrying out repair and restoration work.
According to forecast Primhydromet, today in Nakhodka 5–10 degrees below zero is expected.
At the end of last year, “in connection with inadequate heat supply to the residents of Nakhodka,” a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of citizens).
