The State Duma proposed creating a rating of organizations protecting schools
The rating of companies protecting schools was proposed by State Duma deputies from United Russia Sergei Kolunov and Ilya Volfson. They sent a corresponding appeal to the head of the Russian Guard, Viktor Zolotov.
According to parliamentarians, it is necessary to create a register of security organizations that work in educational institutions and evaluate them according to certain criteria in order to protect children as much as possible and prevent weapons from being brought into schools, writes RIA News.
According to deputies of the State Duma, several factors most often contribute to such crimes: the incompetence of responsible persons, the absence or non-working condition of special equipment. In their opinion, a specialized registry will help solve this problem.
“<…> within the framework of which their rating will be carried out according to specially developed criteria,” the authors wrote in the appeal.
It is stated that if a security organization does not meet the criteria, it should be deprived of its license or be prohibited from concluding new contracts and renewing old ones.
Let us recall that in December 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed law to restrict the use of mobile phones in schools.
Thus, the document prohibits the use of gadgets in schools during lessons. An exception is emergency cases involving a danger to life and health.
