A “yellow” level of weather danger was announced in Moscow until Wednesday, January 17. According to the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, the cause was icy conditions and wind.
It is clarified that due to icy conditions the warning will remain in effect until 21.00 the next day, and due to wind – until 15.00. The situation is similar in the Moscow region.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, the “yellow” level of weather danger will be in effect on January 16 for all constituent entities of the Central Federal District with the exception of the Smolensk region.
Let us recall that earlier weather forecaster Alexander Ilyin warned about the imminent end of the thaw. According to the expert, the frosts that lasted for several days at the end of last week ended due to the influence of the cyclone, so the temperature in the capital increased significantly. Thermometer readings show from -1 to -3 degrees. Ilyin clarified that on Tuesday, January 16, atmospheric pressure will begin to rise, and at night the temperature will drop.
