In Lithuania, an investigation was launched due to the export of a little girl to Russia

Director of the Anti-Crisis Center of Lithuania Vilmantas Vitkauskas on the air of the national radio LRT said that Lithuanian law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the export of a young girl to the Russian Federation by her father without the consent of her mother.
Vitkauskas’ statement says that a preliminary investigation is currently underway, and Lithuania is trying to find out the position of the Russian side.
The director of the Lithuanian Anti-Crisis Center expressed hope that the child would be returned to his mother. In the event that this does not happen, then, according to him, the ministries of foreign affairs, justice and social protection will begin to implement the prescribed procedures.
