The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation recommended that teachers in the Trans-Baikal Territory stop using foreign instant messengers, such as WhatsApp, for parent chats. Journalists were informed about this by the press service of the regional Ministry of Education.
It is noted that these are only recommendations, and there are no sanctions for using WhatsApp. However, many schools in the region have already switched to the domestic Sferum messenger, the press service says.
The Ministry indicates that this is a safe and reliable service for communication. It allows you to send text messages, files, as well as make audio and video calls, similar to popular instant messengers.
Previously reportedthat WhatsApp began to be banned for Russian teachers in Dagestan and Yekaterinburg.
