The regional committee for physical education and sports and the administration of the Galich district announce the start of preparations for the athletics half-marathon race, which is scheduled for May 19, 2024.
The organizers of the sports festival have planned 3 distances – 5, 10 and 21 kilometers, plus children’s races of 500 and 1000 meters.
Since the route of the race will pass through the streets of ancient Galich, the organizers laid it out taking into account the opinions of architects and local historians. The race will start from the city center and will run along the embankment of Lake Galich, the bridge over the Keshma River, Rybnaya Sloboda and Poklonnaya Gora.
