How to pass the exam to a graduate of previous years in 2023-2024 – Picture of the Day – Kommersant

To enter a university, an adult needs not only a certificate of secondary (complete) general education, but also the results of the Unified State Exam. “Kommersant” has compiled step-by-step instructions for passing the exam for those who have long graduated from school.

Applying

The first step is to submit an application to participate in the exam. There are no special requirements for the graduate of the school and the statute of limitations for graduation, even those who received secondary education during the Soviet era can take exams.

Need to apply before February 1 of the current academic year. If you miss this deadline, you will have to wait for the decision of the State Examination Commission (SEC), which will determine whether the applicant has a good reason (business trip, sick leave, etc.) for late application.

You can apply from November on the Gosuslugi website or on the official website of the educational department in the region. It is worth specifying as many necessary items as possible – it will be difficult to change the list after February 1.

When applying online, the exam taker will be asked to choose the location of the exam. You can rent it in any convenient city in one of the educational institutions, regardless of residence or place of graduation.

What documents are needed for registration

To register for the exam, you need to provide the following documents:

– passport;

— SNILS (if available);

— consent to the processing of personal data;

– school certificate or diploma of graduation from a technical school or college;

– a certificate from an institution of secondary vocational education, if you are still continuing your studies;

At some points may request additional copies of these documents, so it’s better to make them in advance.

If the original certificate is not in hand, you can try to provide a copy, but it is better to order the restoration of the school certificate.

As a rule, no later than two weeks before the exam, the person taking the exam will receive notification of the specific date and place of the exam. The future exam participant will also receive a unique registration number.

What to take with you to the exam

To take the exam, you need to come to the examination point (PET) at the set time. All exams start at 10 am local time. The duration of the exam in mathematics, physics, literature, computer science and ICT, biology is 3 hours 55 minutes (235 minutes). Works on the Russian language, chemistry, social science, history are written for 3 hours 30 minutes (210 minutes).

It is better to come to the PES 30-40 minutes before the start of the exam. At the entrance to the PES, you must present passport and notice of registration. It is possible to be late for the exam, but the exam time for a latecomer is not extended and additional instruction is not provided.

You can take with you to the classroom:

– passport;

– black gel pen

– permitted aids depending on the subject: physics – a ruler and a non-programmable calculator; mathematics – a ruler; geography – a protractor, a non-programmable calculator and a ruler; chemistry – non-programmable calculator;

– medicines and food (they may be asked to leave them in the hallway).

Important! For extra items on the table, the examinee can be expelled from the exam.

If an exam is missed for a valid reason, you need to provide a supporting document to the SEC and write an application for the transfer of the exam. After considering the application, the commission will provide a reserve day for delivery.

How to find out the results

As a rule, the results of the exam become known in 7-10 days. You can find them on a single information portal Unified State Examination, at the local educational authority, at the registration point or on the State Services website, using your registration number or passport number.

The results will be valid for four years. You can retake the exam next year.

In what cases can an appeal be filed for the exam?

Appeal is possible file in case of violations of the exam procedure: for example, there were not enough exam papers, drafts were not issued, or it was very noisy. In such cases, it is necessary to write an application without leaving the place of the exam. The conflict commission will watch the video from the cameras and interview the observers. No cameras is also a violation. If the commission makes a positive decision, the exam will be allowed to retake on a reserve day.

You can also appeal in case of disagreement with the points assigned. To challenge the assessment, you need to argue your position in the application and submit it within the prescribed time limit. If the appeal is upheld, the commission will review the work in its entirety again, at the same time, points can not only be increased, but also lowered.

If the paper was not framed correctly or the subject was removed from the exam for inappropriate behavior, appeals will not be accepted.
