House renovation completed in Khamovniki

As part of the capital’s program for the overhaul of the housing stock, work has been completed to upgrade house 16 in Gagarinsky Lane. This residential building was erected in 1983 according to an individual project of unpainted brick. It gained its fame due to the fact that Academician A.N. Yakovlev lived here for many years. The famous Soviet and Russian political figure, publicist and scientist in the 90s headed the federal service for television and radio broadcasting, was the chairman of the Russian state television company Ostankino.

During the overhaul, specialists put the facade, roof and basement in order, as well as replaced the engineering systems. Particular attention was paid to the restoration of the facade of the object. At the first stage, the specialists washed the planes from accumulated dirt, and then repaired the brickwork, strengthening the wear areas with modern building compounds. At the second, final stage, hydrophobization was carried out, thanks to which the facade is reliably protected from the negative effects of precipitation. They also replaced balcony screens and replaced entrance groups. Beautiful and comfortable doors, which correspond to the Moscow standard of overhaul, effectively complete the portrait of the house.

On the roof of an apartment building, as part of a major overhaul, work was carried out to replace the roofing. The old layer was dismantled, the screed was renewed, the roof slope was restored, the roofing was laid in two stages. In the basement, the damaged floors were dismantled, and a screed with waterproofing was installed. They put the walls and ceiling in order: they carefully cleaned it, treated it with modern antifungal compounds, and then painted it.

Residential building No. 16 in Gagarinsky Lane had an extraordinary portrait. The object has a complex shape in plan with a through passage to the yard. Some corners of the building are rounded, giving it grace. The structure of the façade is asymmetrical and highlighted by protruding vertical rows of loggias with transparent railings.

The Moscow Capital Improvement Program is one of the largest housing modernization projects not only in Russia, but in the world. The program includes more than 28,500 houses with a total area of ​​more than 275 million square meters. m, in which it is planned to repair more than 355 thousand engineering systems and structural elements of buildings and replace more than 115 thousand elevators.

To clarify the timing and types of work under the overhaul program, so-called short-term implementation plans are drawn up. The plan for 2021-2023 includes 4,437 houses in the capital with a total area of ​​34.2 million square meters. In 2022, repairs will begin in 1.7 thousand houses.
