Since March 2022, the economic sentiment of Russians has improved significantly. This is evidenced by the data of the opinion poll of the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM). 9% of respondents became economic optimists, 13% were inclined to optimism. in June, economic optimists accounted for 19%, the same number – inclined to optimism.
“Thus, since the beginning of spring, the economic mood of Russians has improved significantly,” the FOS said in a statement.
Since March, the number of Russians who were neutral about the economic situation has increased from 33% to 37%, while the number of pessimistic Russians has decreased – from 29% to 13%.
From the survey data, it is noted that optimists are most often found among Russians aged 18 to 45 who have a secondary general or secondary specialized education.
