The Ministry of Health of Russia has published a new version of guidelines for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), follows from documentpublished on the agency’s website.
Two drugs have been added to the updated list of recommendations: pentanedioic acid imidazolylethanamide, better known as Ingavirin, and nirmatrelvir + ritonavir, registered in Russia under the trade names Mirobivir and Skyvira.
“List of possible prescribing drugs for the treatment of COVID-19 in adults: Favipiravir, Molnupiravir, Nirmatrelvir + ritonavir, Remdesivir, Synthetic small interfering ribonucleic acid (siRNA), Human immunoglobulin against COVID-19, IFN-, Umifenovir, Pentandioic acid imidazolylethanamide, Kasirivimab + imdevimab,” the document says.
Over the past day in the country registered 8.16% more cases of COVID-19 infection than the day before, August 17, – 35,809. According to the operational headquarters, 21,491 people recovered, in total – 18,216,241.
