Today, the honored coach of Russia, Nizhny Novgorod Vladimir Ananyevich Karasyov celebrates his seventieth birthday!
Vladimir Karasev – one of the most honored and respected coaches in the history of Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo”. Over the years of his coaching activity, Vladimir has won quite a few trophies with his pupils, many of whom are Russian champions and have played on the international arena. The brightest of them is Artem Chubarov, who played in the NHL and worked as a coach at Torpedo.
Throughout his professional career, Vladimir Ananievich has worked with youth teams.
For a significant contribution to the development of domestic hockey, Vladimir Ananievich was repeatedly awarded letters of thanks from the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. In 2021, for services to the city, he was awarded the medal “In Commemoration of the 800th Anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod”.
