It would be possible to work, especially since the situation in the country and the world is not very conducive to a big holiday. Go ahead. It’s difficult to say with great accuracy, but on average, according to various estimates, the population drinks 500, or even 600 million liters of alcohol during these ten-plus days.

Statistics on the workload of emergency rooms, surgical departments of hospitals and other medical institutions are not easy to find. However, something suggests that these figures increase at the peak of the weekend and, most likely, significantly.

There was also expert data for 2020 that the Russian economy is losing 1 trillion rubles as a result of this whole carnival. But it is unofficially believed that the Russian people need to be given a rest, so that they can relax, drive away sad thoughts, distract themselves from reality, otherwise they might think of something bad, some kind of sedition or something else bad.

However, logically, weekends are given to spend them usefully. So, this very benefit is not very cheap: tourist trips, including foreign ones, and vacations in country hotels near Moscow are far from cheap, let’s say. Fitness or museums are also not free, and they are not available everywhere. Our endless country is not measured by Moscow alone.

So we have to find solace in alcohol. And this, you know, is not easy. Drinking, as you know, is hard work. As a result, we come back to the same thing: holidays are the lot of the rich, at least the non-poor. There is an opinion that, first of all, the elites need this. Of course, you can’t go to Courchevel these days, but you still have somewhere to spend time. The main thing is that you don’t have to apologize later. But if you do everything wisely, you won’t get caught. But let’s not get distracted, this is a completely different story.

Although, of course, as a result of such holidays, there is an incentive to earn good money, and then the vacation will be remembered and will not become commonplace and a burden on one’s health. I also want to believe that the population for the most part leads an extremely positive lifestyle. And the elites and bosses set all sorts of examples correctly and vigilantly They also monitor life support systems. What kind of holidays are these when the radiators in the house are not heated? However, this is also a completely different story.
