Hockey players of the Ufa “Salavat Yulaev” collected 735 thousand 600 rubles for children with cerebral palsy. This happened thanks to 7,356 spectators who came the day before, on September 29, to watch the game with Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
According to the press service of the hockey club, the partner multiplied the number of spectators by 100 and will send the resulting amount to the Gift to an Angel charity foundation. All money will go to help children diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
The head coach of the Ufa team, Viktor Kozlov, admitted that he was touched by this event. And he called for such matches to be held as often as possible.
