The Rostov hockey club signed a trial contract with the captain of the youth team from the Voronezh region. The “red-whites” reported this on social networks.
For EkoNiva-Bobrov defender Roman Gapochkin, this season will be his debut in the VHL (note – All-Russian Hockey League). Previously, the 21-year-old athlete played only in the national youth hockey league.
In the 2022/23 season, Roman Gapochkin earned 20 points. The hockey player scored four goals and made 16 assists. In 37 matches, his utility score was +18. This means that the team scored 18 more goals than they conceded while Gapochkin was in the game.
In total, the 21-year-old athlete has played 134 matches in the country’s second youth league. During his career in the youth team, he scored 25 goals and made 41 assists, scoring 66 points. And the utility coefficient was +71.
