Grandson Pugacheva denied his mobilization

Channel Five reported today that Nikita Presnyakov, the grandson of singer Alla Pugacheva and the son of Kristina Orbakaite and Vladimir Presnyakov, was mobilized and taken away, accompanied by military enlistment office staff, from a rehearsal at the Moscow Provincial Theater. Later, this publication disappeared from the channel’s website. Link to material throws a 404 error.

Representatives of the theater denied the information about the mobilization of Mr. Presnyakov to the Zvezda publication, specifying that he was not present at the rehearsal today. The artist’s PR manager declined to comment on the situation. Mr. Presnyakov himself in his Telegram channel replied to subscribers that the reports of his mobilization were “fake”.

After the announcement of a partial mobilization in Russia, the media regularly disseminate information about attracting celebrities to military service. At the end of September in the media appeared a similar message about the mobilization of musician Igor Sklyar, later refuted by him.

On September 18, Alla Pugacheva called on the Ministry of Justice to declare her a foreign agent, following her husband Maxim Galkin, who had been given this legal status two days earlier. She also criticized the policy of the Russian authorities towards Ukraine and called the goals of the military operation illusory.
