The mother of the artist’s eldest children was left with nothing
The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow today divided the property of Alexander Gradsky between his heirs. As an informed source told MK, the artist’s property was divided into five parts: between Gradsky’s two adult children, his widow and two young sons. Gradsky’s former wife Olga was not allocated a share.
By court decision, the two eldest children received the country mansion of Alexander Gradsky – the most significant hereditary object, into which the performer put his whole soul; he built it himself according to his own design.
The residential complex consists of a huge winter house with a swimming pool, a summer house, a servant’s house and a large park with ship pine trees, each of which has its own number.
Gradsky’s widow Marina and her children got an apartment in the center of Moscow and the very house that the artist built next to the main one. Marina and the children lived in this house during Gradsky’s life—the musician needed absolute silence for his creativity—and also after his death.
According to some reports, Gradsky’s older children were not entirely satisfied with the division. Apparently, an appeal will be filed against the court’s decision.
