The famous rock artist, poet and musician Stas Namin told how the funeral of his son Artem will take place. The young man was brutally killed by his half-brother last Wednesday in the village of Kryukovo in the Istra urban district of the Moscow region. His grandmother died along with him.
“The funeral will be private. This is what Artyom’s mother wished,” Namin told MK. “We have a very big request, including to journalists, not to come. This is our personal great grief. There will be literally a few people.”
Namin also added that he was not following the progress of the trial in the Istra court, where on Friday a preventive measure was chosen for Roman Mikoyan, the artist’s stepson, who was detained for murder.
“I don’t care what happens to him,” he said.
Stas Namin spoke about his son Artem. “He was a very clean, decent person. Talented… Absolutely alien to all this secularism and publicity. My angel is gone. The way he was brutally killed is scary. You wouldn’t wish this on anyone.”
