The best in their professions will have their bonuses increased to a million

The amount of incentives has been changed to take into account inflation

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection proposes to significantly increase bonuses for the best professionals in Russia. In accordance with the project prepared by the Ministry resolutions of the Russian Governmentthe prize fund of the “Best in Profession” competition in 2024-2026 will be 9 million rubles.

Let us remind you that the competition has been held since 2012. At the end of the year preceding the year of the next competition, a special commission determines which professions will compete. Thus, in December last year, the commission determined the nominations “Best metro electric train driver”, “Best power plant driver”, “Best emergency repair mechanic”, “Best gas rescuer” and “Best bulldozer driver”. The best metro drivers compete in Moscow, power plant drivers – in the Sirius federal territory, mechanics – in the Samara region, gas rescuers – in the Tula region, bulldozer drivers – in the Republic of Chuvashia.

The prizes for the winners and runners-up of the competition have not changed throughout the entire period of its holding. The prize for first place in each category today is 300 thousand rubles, for second place – 200 thousand, for third place – 100 thousand. The Ministry of Labor believes that, given the price increase that has occurred over the years of the competition, the size of bonuses should be increased to 1 million, 500 thousand and 300 thousand, respectively.
