From February 1, the schedule of electric trains will change in five directions of the Moscow Railways

From February 1 to February 28, on five directions of the Moscow Railway (MZhD), including MCD-1 and MCD-2, the schedules of electric trains and Aeroexpress trains will change.

The changes will affect electric trains running on the Belarusian, Kazan, Kursk, Riga and Savelovsky directions of the Moscow Railways, as well as aeroexpress trains to Sheremetyevo Airport. This is due to the work on the modernization of the railway infrastructure.

“On the Savelovsky direction on weekdays from February 1 to February 28 at the Lobnya station (1:30 – 5:00), on the sections Moscow-Butyrskaya – Beskudnikovo (from 00:20 to 05:20) and Kanalstroy – Verbilki (10 :50 – 14:50), the railway workers will modernize power supply facilities,” the press service of the Moscow Railways said in a statement.

The company also clarified that on the Kursk and Kazan directions of the Moscow Railway, work will be carried out: February 1 – 3 and 7 – 14 (0:30 – 5:40) on the Krasny Stroitel – Podolsk section, from February 1 to 28 (except 22, 23 , February 26 and 27) at night – on the Ramenskoye – Bronnitsy section, as well as on February 1 – 3 and 6 – 10 (6:00 – 8:40) – on the Rybnoye – Divovo section.

In this regard, on the indicated dates, some electric trains will be taken out of the schedule or their departure / arrival time will be changed, and several electric trains will follow shortened routes.

In addition, on February 2 and 3, in connection with the modernization of the infrastructure of the Kryukovo station, the schedule of electric trains on the Leningrad direction of the Oktyabrskaya Railway (OZhD) will change. “Some of the trains have been canceled, some of the timetables are changing. Some trains run from/to Khimki, Skhodnya, and Malino stations,” the Deptrans of the capital said in a statement.

At the same time, the intervals of train traffic at lunchtime will be increased to 3 hours.

Passengers are asked to be careful and learn in advance about changes in the schedule. This can be done both at railway stations and on transport Internet portals or on the official website of the carrier.
