Former head of the Constitutional Court of Russia Marat Baglay has died

The website of the Constitutional Court of Russia reports the death at the age of 92 of the former chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Law, Marat Baglay. Let us recall that Marat Baglay became a judge of the Constitutional Court in February 1995, and two years later he replaced Vladimir Tumanov as chairman. In 2003, Baglay transferred the post to Valery Zorkin.
Let us note that Marat Baglay taught at MGIMO, is the author of the textbook “Constitutional Law of the Russian Federation”, and was awarded orders and medals.
