Forecaster Shuvalov: temperature increase and snowfall expected in Moscow

Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, informed iz.ru that in the near future in Moscow there will be warming and snowfall.
According to Shuvalov, December 26 will be the only day without precipitation this week. Already on Tuesday, the frontal zone will approach the capital, and warming will begin in the city from zero to minus two degrees by the evening of December 27. At the same time it will start to snow.
“The ice will be covered with snow,” the forecaster said.
Snowfall, according to Shuvalov, will continue on Wednesday. Then the air temperature will remain approximately the same as the day before.
However, on December 30, a new frontal zone will approach Moscow: weather forecasters predict new snowfalls and an increase in temperature to positive levels.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, warned that on Tuesday there would be snowstorms in Moscow with wind gusts of up to 12 meters per second.
