Thanks to state support, Mini-Sirius centers are being opened in the regions – these are regional centers for the development of talents for children and youth, created using the technology of the Sochi educational center known throughout the country. The Sirius Educational Center, where all Russian schoolchildren dream of coming, is a year-round gathering point for the brightest representatives of the younger generation.

To get here, you need not only to have talent in the field of culture, sports, science or modern technology, but also to participate in creative, scientific school Olympiads, all-Russian competitions and sports competitions. Every month, 800 children from all over the country are selected for Sirius.

Any child between the ages of 10 and 17 can receive a ticket to the center for gifted children, regardless of the income level of their parents. Here, schoolchildren will be taught in one shift what others have been studying for years. The children participate in specialized and educational programs, as well as in master classes and the work of creative and scientific laboratories under the guidance of scientists and expert practitioners.

Until recently, millions of schoolchildren from all over the country dreamed of getting into Sirius in order to prove themselves and open the way to the future. Thanks to the national project “Education” the dream has become a reality. By the end of 2024, regional centers for gifted children and youth will be created in all regions of Russia.

Talented schoolchildren from all over the country will now be able to get in-depth knowledge and show their outstanding abilities. Thanks to the support of the national project “Education” centers working according to the methods of the Sochi Sirius will appear in all regions of Russia by 2024.

“By 2024, within the framework of the national project, the so-called small “Sirius” will be opened in all regions of the country, which accumulate the methods of “Sirius”, and there is the possibility of full interaction,” comments Tatyana Golikova, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

So, by the beginning of the academic year, Mini-Sirius opened in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The center works in the areas of sports, science and art. Thanks to the support of the national project “Education” the children’s campus is equipped with all necessary equipment. There are comfortable bedrooms, coworking spaces, classrooms, a media center, a recording studio, and various laboratories. Under the supervision of experienced mentors, students will develop in various fields, learn to analyze and create, as well as apply creativity and creativity in their future work.

“Our task is to combine resources, using personnel experience, infrastructure opportunities, to give children a decent education and prepare them for adult life. Solaris will soon open its own “house” of talented children in the city of Ivanovo. It was created in the former House of Culture of Railway Workers. For example, a scanning laser spectrometer will appear here – schoolchildren will use it to study the properties of chemicals from the periodic table in two-dimensional space.

Lucky not only for chemists, but also for future designers. For them, computers and 3D scanners were installed in Solaris, with the help of which the guys will be able to model clothes. Gifted children from all over the Ivanovo region will be able to get into the center.

Udmurtia also has its own “Mini-Sirius” – this is the TAU center. Today, more than 4 thousand talented schoolchildren from all over the republic are already studying there. The list of programs is extensive: natural, engineering and technical sciences, IT direction and socio-pedagogical profile.

“Now we have five different sites, 15 modern laboratories open to all children. We work in the paradigm that every child is talented and gifted. The task of centers like ours is to identify talents and develop them. We create a motivating environment for interest,” said Rimma Byakova, director of the center.

The mysterious letters “TAU” are deciphered very simply – talent, activity and success. And from the Udmurt language it is translated as “thank you.” And there is something to express gratitude to the guys for – rich educational programs, scope for creativity and new discoveries, a bright and interesting future. Even now, advanced students can boast of success. In the classroom, young inventors created an interactive glove with software that helps in rehabilitation after a stroke. The leading enterprises of Russia have already become interested in innovation.

Another development, only now by young agronomists, is a cone substrate for hydroponics. The guys suggest growing plants on cones. There is already a similar substrate on the market – coconut. But these exotic fruits are not in Udmurtia, but there are a lot of cones in the forests.

Face-to-face education of schoolchildren in “Mini-Sirius” thanks to the national project “Education” possibly after competitive selection. The child needs to collect a portfolio: participation in olympiads, competitions or sports competitions. In addition to regular educational programs, students will be able to complete distance learning or get into specialized shifts.
