Flood in Primorye flooded 11 medical facilities – Kommersant

Because of the flood after the typhoon in Primorye, water flooded 11 medical institutions. Despite this, they continue to work. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Health. The department assured that there are enough medicines in hospitals.
“As a result of the flood in the Primorsky Territory, 11 healthcare facilities were flooded. Despite the flooding, all medical institutions continue to work as usual and are provided with medicines in full. Paramedics have been on duty at feldsher-obstetric stations,” the Ministry of Health reported.
Typhoon “Khanun” raged in Primorye from 10 to 12 August. Water flooded 7 apartment buildings, 4.4 thousand private houses and 5.7 thousand adjoining plots. Rescuers evacuated more than 2 thousand people. 28 settlements were cut off from roads. The state of emergency was introduced in 21 municipalities. In Ussuriysk, 49 transformer substations were flooded, and in the Ussuriysk city district, the Asteroid children’s camp was evacuated.
