The Ostankino court in Moscow sentenced three knackers accused of attempting to kill a dog. They are sentenced to forced labor.

As previously reported, stray dog ​​catchers from among the employees of a private security company and the Federal Passenger Company were in the dock. In February last year, they received the task of catching stray animals near a carriage depot in the north-east of the capital. They brutally beat one of the captured dogs and then hung it on a fence near the Moscow-3 platform in the Yaroslavl direction. The animal miraculously did not die – it was saved by witnesses and volunteers.

There were three defendants in the dock: Vladimir Korsakov, Vagif Egrefov and Dmitry Dmitriev. They were accused of cruelty to an animal with the intent to cause it suffering. As the press service of the Ostankino court told MK, the defendants were sentenced to forced labor for a period of 2 years 3 months to 2 years 6 months with the withholding of 10% of earnings to the state.
