Filming of the detective “Bear Corner” with Evgeny Dyatlov began on NTV

The shooting of the action-packed detective story “Bear Corner” has begun. The plot focuses on the investigation of two, at first glance, unrelated crimes that occurred in a remote village in the Pskov region. A personal motive to solve the case leads the Moscow police captain Novikov to the province. He will conduct business together with the local major Kazantsev. Honored Artist of Russia Yevgeny Dyatlov and theater and film actor Yevgeny Shirikov played the main roles in the project.

When police captain Viktor Novikov (Evgeny Shirikov) proposed to his girlfriend, journalist Eva Suvi (Evgeny Drobotova), he did not expect to be rejected. But it turned out that for the sake of family life, she was not ready to give up her career and stop her dangerous journalistic investigations. It turns out that Eve is now just one step away from solving one high-profile case, and she cannot leave him.

Three months later, Novikov receives tragic news: his beloved drowned while swimming in a lake in the remote village of Rybnoe, Pskov region. Her death is recognized as an accident, but Victor believes that the defendants in her next investigation dealt with her. Since the investigation was not carried out, he decides to find and punish the perpetrators himself. The captain asks the authorities to transfer him to the Rybnoye village police station.

However, an unexpected obstacle appears on Novikov’s path to the goal: he is forced to join the investigation of another cruel crime. In the vicinity of the village, a daring raid was made on the car of the Pskov businessman Gleb Blagikh (Sergey Ivanyuk). The car delivered a large amount of cash to the village, intended for settlement with the construction team. The cashier and two guards accompanying the valuable cargo were killed, and 15 million rubles disappeared without a trace.

Investigating the robbery, Novikov realizes that the raid on the cashier and the death of Eva are connected. “Victor is interesting to me for his inconsistency. Over time, his pragmatism is replaced by emotionality, unbalancing him. When there is a large palette of feelings, it is always interesting to live. The series will have a large number of tricks, which is very pleasing: chases, shooting, fights, falls. I do everything myself. With Evgeny Dyatlov, we, one might say, caught the same wave, we understand each other perfectly. In my opinion, we have an interesting duet. Filming takes place in the far corners of the Vologda region – in my homeland, places familiar to me. The guys from the film crew and I were fishing from the river with our bare hands. We have a great team, I’m sure the series will be interesting,” says Yevgeny Shirikov.

Major Kazantsev (Evgeny Dyatlov), the head of the local police department, becomes an assistant and at the same time an antagonist of this investigation. Kazantsev has his own goals and objectives in this investigation. His goal is to find the killer and the kidnapper of a large amount of money, and at the same time maintain a fragile peaceful balance between the inhabitants of the village and the gypsy community. After all, Kazantsev is local, he was born and raised here, he knows all the residents personally!

Filming of the series will take place in Cherepovets, the Vologda region and the Moscow region.
