The famous Russian producer Maxim Fadeev commented in social networks on the times of collaboration with the singer Nargiz Zakirova, who fell into disgrace in Russia. He stressed that he did not regret writing songs for her.
“I regret that now I see what is happening to her, that’s the best way to say it,” says his audio recording, posted on Telegram-channel. Fadeev added that in this case “words will not play anything, people see everything themselves.” According to him, a lot of love was invested in the performer, and also “a lot of human goodness.”
The producer pointed out that they sang about human feelings. “They believed her. That was our real work,” Fadeev said. But now, as the specialist added, “we see what we see.”
In 2013, Nargiz, who is also a US citizen, took second place in Russia in the television competition “Voice”. After that, she collaborated with Fadeev, but in 2019 the producer terminated the contract with her due to a conflict, forbidding her to perform all the songs.
After being detained while crossing the Russian border, Nargiz was banned from entering Russia for 50 years and sent back to Uzbekistan for speaking out against the Russian special operation in Ukraine. After that, the artist announced in her social networks that the hits that fans had loved during her career would return to her repertoire. It was reported that Fadeev threatened the singer with a lawsuit for such behavior.
