Tourists who watched a shark attack Russian Vladimir Popov on a beach in Egypt told how she tore a tourist to pieces, reports site KP.RU.
The shark attacked 23-year-old Popov on Dream Beach in Hurghada. It was located in an area where swimming was allowed, not far from the stairs along which tourists descended into the sea. Rescuers began to start the boat, but did not have time to save the man.
“The guy managed to shout only once: either “dad”, or “save”, it was not clear,” said one of the eyewitnesses. After that, the shark bit off his legs and dragged the body for about two hours, constantly dragging him under the water.
The shark was subsequently captured and killed.
