Ex-Zenit player Strepetov: Pedro will be more difficult with every match

Former Zenit player Alexei Strepetov told MK in St. Petersburg what he thinks about the newcomer Pedro, who joined the team as part of a winter transfer. According to Strepetov, with each match it will be more and more difficult for Pedro to prove himself.

Zenit’s next game will take place on April 17 – it will be a meeting with Spartak as part of the return match of the semi-final of the RPL Path of the Russian Cup.

“As soon as Pedro appeared at Zenit, I immediately said that a good boy with a twist had come to us. He has such qualities as dribbling, aiming for goal. Pedro is known throughout Brazil. The merit of the Zenit management is that this player ended up in St. Petersburg. With each round it will be more difficult for Pedro, because everyone will get used to his effective actions,” Strepetov said.

Note that Pedro performed well in the Russian Cup and RPL matches. So, in the first match of the semi-final of the RPL Path with Spartak, St. Petersburg won with the score 1:2 thanks to Pedro’s brace. He also scored the only goal in the game against Baltika in the 23rd round of the RPL.
