Moscow survived the July night. This was reported by the leading specialist of the Phobos center Evgeniy Tishkovets.
The thermometers at the base weather station of the capital – VDNKh – did not fall below +13.4. According to Tishkovets, such night temperatures correspond to the climate norm for mid-summer.
But in mid-autumn, such warming is extremely rare. This happened in Moscow 30 years ago. In 1993, the minimum temperature on October 15 was +14.7. It is a record.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, warned that in the coming days it would be abnormally warm in 26 Russian regions – from the Volga region to Transbaikalia and Yakutia. The average temperature deviation from the norm will be 7-8 degrees.
