Evacuated residents of the Belgorod region will receive two lump sum payments

Each resident of the resettled municipalities in the Belgorod region is entitled to two one-time payments. This was announced on Monday, June 5, by the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The politician said on his Telegram channel that he reported on the situation in the region to the head of the federal government, Mikhail Mishustin, who confirmed that it was already possible to announce the decision regarding payments. What specific amounts will be discussed, as well as in what terms they can be received, Gladkov promised to inform “tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.”

Earlier, Gladkov reported that he had discussed with the head of the Central Bank of Russia the topic of credit relief for residents of the Belgorod region, who were forced to leave their homes due to shelling from Ukraine. They are promised provide credit holidays, and this will concern both consumer and mortgage loans. The politician promised to announce the details of the loan vacation on June 6.

The Belgorod governor also explained that from June 1, residents who left their homes in the Shebekinsky district should not pay for housing and communal services until they return home. No rent will be charged for the entire period of forced absence. Gladkov assured that it also “would not be credited with an additional amount later.”

In addition, additional points for the issuance of humanitarian aid will be launched in the region, and the work of medical teams will be organized at temporary accommodation points.
