Mayor of Belgorod Valentin Demidov said that the largest temporary accommodation center of the city (TAC) – “Belgorod-Arena” – stops receiving residents of the border Shebekinsky district who have resettled due to shelling.
“The temporary accommodation facility in Belgorod-Arena today stops accepting Shebekin residents. Everyone who wanted was placed in hostels, we continue to send those who wish to other regions of the country and districts of the region, ”wrote Valentin Demidov in his Telegram channel.
The mayor of Belgorod said that an average of 35 people a day arrive from the Shebekinsky district. They spend “one day maximum” in TACs, then they are provided with “comfortable conditions”. Valentin Demidov said that the maximum capacity of the Belgorod Arena is 1250 people. In total, more than 4,000 people have been received at TAPs in recent days.
