Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that residents of the border areas of the region, who were temporarily resettled due to shelling, will be given credit holidays. The corresponding measure was agreed with the Central Bank, he added.
“Credit holidays will be provided. There was a conversation with the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina. Today or tomorrow we will see the solution to the problem. There is support,” said Vyacheslav Gladkov during a live broadcast during “In contact with”.
Today, at an operational meeting, the governor said that the authorities would keep the wages of municipal employees and employees of budgetary institutions of the enterprises of the Shebekinsky district, from where people are taken out. In addition, Mr. Gladkov called for the creation of “permanent jobs” at each temporary accommodation center (TAP).
In recent weeks, shelling has intensified in the area of the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine. Residents of Shebekino are evacuated to TAPs, children are taken to summer camps in the regions of Russia. On June 4, it was reported that more than 4,000 people had moved to TAPs.
