An individual entrepreneur, detained as part of the investigation of a criminal case on mass poisoning with the drink “Mr. Cider”, has already been brought to administrative responsibility for the sale of alcohol without documents. This was announced on Monday, June 5, by a law enforcement source.

The source stated that the detainee was Huseynov Anar Afat oglu. The filing cabinet of the Arbitration Court of the Samara Region contains information that an audit in the summer of 2022 revealed violations in his activities – a man was selling alcohol without documents. Since he committed the offense for the first time and it was a small amount of goods, instead of a fine, he was given a warning. The alcohol was confiscated and disposed of.

Telegram-channel Baza reports that the police are looking for two more people involved in the production and sale of cider. In Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk region, 193 kegs with a drink of 30 liters were seized from stores.

Among those who used this drink, 18 people died, more than 20 remain in hospitals. Checks are being carried out at retail outlets in a number of Russian regions where deadly cider could be found. Law enforcement officers published a photo of the label of the drink – Russians are urged not to use it in any case.
