Ella Pamfilova: This is the first election without “high-profile” scandals in establishing the results

– The election campaign began on June 3 with the appointment of elections in Karelia. 31 thousand mandates were replaced. The national average turnout was 35%. Currently, there is not a single complaint against lower commissions that would require consideration by the commission. The number of re-entries of protocols has been halved. The first step in preparing for the next campaign is to analyze and move forward. No significant changes are required. So it’s clear now. You can’t complain here. We believe we have done a good job. We will always find shortcomings and jambs in ourselves that others have not noticed. There was an aggressive behavior of the candidates, but our fears were not justified. The first single voting day passed without scandals during the counting of votes. The voting results for municipal elections were canceled only at one polling station in Lyubertsy. In 15 regions, 968 ballots out of 25 million issued were declared invalid. Four thousandths of a percent. We have learned to cut down possible provocations in the bud, to avoid the spread of fake information.

The CEC received 12,763 calls, and only 210 contained complaints about the electoral system. In total, the Clearinghouse received reports from 41 regions. 25871 written appeals were received. The information is contained in 321 messages.

Five parties did not participate in the elections at all, two did not succeed.

91% of candidates registered. 9% are not only refusals, but also the loss of status – they did not convey the documents.

16 parties and 3 public associations managed to get elected according to the results of the elections. United Russia is in first place, self-nominated candidates are in second. The representation of parties in legislative assemblies increased in several regions, and decreased in two. Small parties achieve success.

Public observation has shown its strength, viability and effectiveness. 128,000 observers and media representatives were present. Most of them – 125,000 – are observers. 2789 media representatives. The chaos with the appointment of members of election commissions with the right to a consultative vote has ceased.
