Donetsk gymnasts harvested awards at the tournament in Sochi

Pupils of the “Grace” section of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity in Donetsk continue to conquer the pedestals of Russia.
The young athletes of the rhythmic gymnastics section “Grace” of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity returned with excellent results from the annual Sochi city rhythmic gymnastics tournament “Treasure of the Nation 2023”.
In the Olympic capital of Russia on May 26-28, a serious competition for the championship of the city flared up.
About 300 gymnasts from Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, Stavropol, St. Petersburg and other cities and regions, including the Donetsk People’s Republic, took part in the competition.
According to the results of the competition, the Donetsk team won 6 gold medals, 7 silver and 3 bronze medals.
According to the methodological center of the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity, the awards are given to children at a difficult price, because for more than a year all sports sections have been working remotely. But, nevertheless, the professionalism of the head of “Grace” Irina Ivanovna Pugacheva and the desire of the girls to do what they love bring worthy results and allow them to compete with athletes in peaceful territories
