Russian Andreeva defeated the US tennis player Riske at the start of Roland Garros

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva (143rd WTA) defeated American Alison Riske (85th WTA) in the first round of Roland Garros. The meeting ended in 56 minutes after two sets – 6:2, 6:1.

Andreeva has one ace, five out of six break points and no double faults. Riske has one ace, one double fault and one realized break point out of four.

For 16-year-old Mirra Andreeva, the victory was the first in the Grand Slam tournaments. In the second round, she will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina and Frenchwoman Diane Parry.
