Doctor Doronin: a smartphone near the bed interferes with normal sleep

Oncologist Leonid Doronin recommended not to put the phone next to the bed, as this greatly impairs the quality of sleep. He wrote about this in his telegram channel “Doctor’s Notes”.
Doronin spoke about a study published on the Android Authority website. It says that the habit of leaving the phone by the bed negatively affects sleep, it becomes short, shallow and is accompanied by periodic awakenings. As a result, in the morning a person feels overwhelmed and exhausted.
Approximately half of the respondents said they have a habit of putting their phone next to their bed at night. Doronin strongly advises to abandon this habit.
“If you move your smartphone to another room, or at least put it away, after about a month, the quality of sleep can return to normal,” he wrote.
