“Dictation of Victory”: the patriotic action of “United Russia” will affect more than 40 countries

This year, Sri Lanka will join the historical action for the first time, and the tasks themselves will be translated into 6 foreign languages

The large-scale patriotic action “Dictation of Victory”, initiated by the United Russia party, will take place on April 27 this year. The Victory Museum in Moscow will traditionally become the central platform of the action. Participants will be able to test their knowledge of the country’s history both in person and online in all regions. In addition, more than 40 countries will join the event, including Sri Lanka for the first time.

In addition to the geography of the project, the number of languages ​​into which dictation assignments will be translated will also expand. This year, for the first time, the test will be available in Chinese, Serbian, Spanish, German, French and English.

According to the coordinator of the party project “Historical Memory”, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein, the number of offline sites has also increased – this year there will be more than 22,000 of them.

“Every year, the number of regional venues and the number of people interested in the history of our country who take part in the dictation are multiplying. This suggests that the topic of preserving historical memory, the exploits of our ancestors, the heroic history of the Fatherland, is of interest to our citizens. And the questions that are raised in the dictation tests are very relevant,” Khinshtein said.

“Dictation of Victory” is a unique project of “United Russia”. It successfully combines a patriotic orientation, serious educational (historical) content and broad involvement of participants. The fact that this year the dictation assignments have been translated into foreign languages ​​testifies both to the interest of foreign citizens in the action, and to the serious results of the efforts that United Russia is making to promote national values ​​abroad,” commented Dmitry Orlov, General Director of APEC.

Most sites will be located in the Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, Moscow, Samara and Tula Regions. It is important that more than 120 dictation venues are also organized in Donbass.

“Involving residents of new Russian territories in the Victory Dictation is of fundamental importance. This will facilitate their study of the real history of the Fatherland, and not the “history” set out in Russophobic textbooks and information rewritten in the interests of the Ukrainian regime,” Khinshtein emphasized.

Those who want to participate, but for one reason or another cannot visit the venues in person, can take the dictation remotely on the dictation-pobeda.rf website. Participants will have to answer 25 questions: 20 on general military-historical topics and 5 on regional ones.

It should be noted that the questions for the regional part of the dictation were compiled by historians and representatives of patriotic public associations from 18 countries. Among them are Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Argentina, Armenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Finland, France, Czech Republic.

“Today, more than ever, it is important to tell the truth about the Great Victory both in our country and abroad. On the example of Ukraine and the Baltic countries, we see what ignorance and distortion of history leads to. “Volunteers of Victory” for the fifth time will help accompany this action not only in Russia, but also in other countries. We plan to involve about 20 thousand volunteers. They will also help in conducting the “Victory Dictation” on the territory of four new regions. It is important that this year the issues will relate to the Nuremberg Trials, the liberation of Donbass from the Nazis, the breakthrough of the Siege of Leningrad,” added Olga Zanko, chairman of the Victory Volunteers movement, deputy chairman of the State Duma committee for the development of civil society.
