A student of the Moscow School No. 1288 named after the Hero of the Soviet Union N.V. Troyan became the winner of the finals of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in physical education.
In the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named after Kozma Minin, the final of the GOSh in physical culture was completed, in which 250 schoolchildren from 81 regions of Russia took part. The guys went through two rounds: a theoretical one, where they answered test questions, and a practical one. As part of the practical tour, schoolchildren competed in sports games, athletics and gymnastics. 13 Moscow schoolchildren became the winners of the final, 15 students of the capital received diplomas of winners.
As the winner of the Olympiad Alina Maslova noted, it is impossible to get a good result without serious preparation.
– To be honest, I did not expect that I would become a winner. Now it is difficult to convey all the emotions that I experience. It is both joy, and shock, and surprise. Winning is a big achievement for me. My secret of success lies in labor-intensive preparation: training, studying theory, believing in yourself and your success,” the girl said.
According to the results of the competition, 11th-graders – Ekaterina Khodkevich from school No. 1504 and Maxim Sokolov from school No. 1381 – became the best in theory among girls and boys, respectively, and a student of the 10th grade of school No. 1287 Gleb Dementievsky – in gymnastics.

The All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren is held in 24 subjects and includes four stages. The finals are attended by students of grades 9-11, who scored the most points in the previous rounds of the competition. Winners and prize-winners of the final stage can enter any university without exams.
