Only half of the patients will heed the advice of the attending physician to go to an oncologist, according to a survey by the NAFI Analytical Center and the Oncology Charitable Foundation. In addition, non-obvious symptoms of cancer will be ignored by every third respondent. At the same time, the survey showed that thoughts about oncological diseases cause fear in 69% of Russians. Experts remind: the insidiousness of cancer lies in the fact that it practically does not manifest itself in the early stages.
