Deputy Minister of Health of the Samara Region Aslanbek Mairamukaev was detained on suspicion of fraud. This was announced on Thursday, August 3, in the regional head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The department clarified that they are investigating a criminal case against the deputy chief physician of one of the budgetary health care institutions of the region, suspected of embezzling budget funds when concluding a contract for the supply of medical equipment.
At the same time, it is not reported what, according to the investigation, the role of Mayramukaev in this case, but the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Samara Region confirmed that the detention of the deputy minister and operational actions against the official are related to this criminal case.
Meanwhile, the investigation of the criminal case against Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Alexander Gurovich, who was detained earlier for abuse of power. He is charged with financial violations in the course of monitoring the construction of a field hospital for patients with coronavirus infection in the Murmansk region.
